Moyne Shire Council notifies the public of many planning permit applications, to provide anyone who may be affected by the granting of the permit, an opportunity to lodge a submission.

A submission can be lodged using an objection to grant of planning permit form. Please visit this page to find out how to make an objection. More information on objections and the planning process is available here.

For more information on any of the planning permit applications please contact the planning unit 1300 656 564 or moyne@moyne.vic.gov.au

Due to changes in legislation, Council has had to remove personal information from our application documentation in order to meet our privacy obligations under the law.

Under the Planning and Environment Act 1987 the following documents (relevant to the public notice process) must be made available for inspection by the public, and will continue to be able to be viewed at council’s Port Fairy Customer Service Centre and Mortlake Customer Service Centres.

  • applications for planning permits and amendments to planning permits
  • objections to the grant of a permit
  • registers of applications
  • planning permits

The documents must be made available at council’s office during the council’s office hours.

If your circumstances require you to obtain plans for a currently advertised planning application via email please contact our statutory planning team at moyne@moyne.vic.gov.au with the planning reference number (starting with PL), the documents required and the reasons for which you are unable to inspect the documents in person.
