Waste facilities (tips)

Free green waste disposal 23 to 24 November 2024

Residents of Moyne Shire can drop off lawn clippings, branches and vegetation to help with summer fire preparedness. Dispose of green waste for free at the following transfer stations.

• Hawkesdale. 23 November 2024 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.
• Macarthur. 23 November 2024 12.30 to 2.30 pm.
• Killarney. 24 November 2024 10 am to 4 pm.
• Peterborough. 24 November 2024 10 am to 2 pm.
• Caramut. 24 November 2024 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
• Mortlake. 24 November 2024 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

No mixed loads are allowed (green garden waste only) Limbs and branches up to 30cm in diameter. No commercial operators or commercial loads will be accepted. Trucks are not permitted.
