Federal rebates for solar

The Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme is an Australian Government program based around tradable certificates called small-scale technology certificates (STCs).

Eligible installations of rooftop solar are entitled to STCs, creating a subsidy for households and businesses that install solar.

The amount of the subsidy depends on the size of your solar system.

This subsidy is usually included in the price quoted by installers.
