First elected in 2020, Karen is a former journalist who operates a business and leadership development consultancy from Port Fairy.
During her first term on Council, Karen served as Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
She is an experienced board director, chair and independent chair and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
A professional facilitator and mentor, Karen also has a personal interest in supporting other women in business and leadership.
Karen is married with two adult children. She loves walking her dogs on Moyne Shire’s beautiful beaches, gardening, travel and catching up with friends and family for good food and robust conversation.
