Moyne Shire Council and Moyne Youth Arts Collective in partnership with Winter Weekends is proud to announce the culmination of its Youth Visual Arts Mentoring Program with a stunning lighting projection event, 'Our Town Projected'.
Over the past month, a group of budding young visual artists have been mentored by an experienced professional in 3D mapping and design, through personalized guidance, workshops, and collaborative practices.
The culmination of this mentoring program will be 'Our Town Projected,' a mesmerizing lighting projection event where participants’ artworks will be projected on prominent buildings in the heart of Port Fairy from 7-9 July.
Mayor Cr Karen Foster said she was impressed by the growth and achievements of the young artists.
"'Our Town Projected' will not only celebrate the accomplishments of the participating artists but also create an opportunity for the entire community to witness the vibrant visual creations brought to life through light and motion” said Cr Foster.
"We invite everyone to join us for this unique event, a showcase of talent, innovation, and the transformative impact of the arts. Come and witness the works of these young artists as they light up our town."
'Our Town Projected' is open to the public and free to attend.
