Last chance to show some love to a Moyne local business

Do you know a business that has fantastic customer service or is making brilliant products right here in Moyne? – Why not show them some love and nominate for the annual Love Local Awards.

This week is the last chance to nominate a business for the awards which recognise and celebrates the outstanding contributions of local businesses to the Moyne Shire community.

Mayor Cr Karen Foster said the Love Local program was born out of the COVID pandemic as a way of encouraging people to support local businesses during lockdowns. “It has grown from that to become a key program for Council to promote and celebrate the fantastic things local businesses are doing – and these awards are a key part of that,” she said.

“We have four categories people can nominate their favorite businesses for - Most Innovative Business, Best Customer Service, Most Community Focused, and Made in Moyne.

“We’ve had a terrific response so far, but I’d love to see even more businesses nominated you have until Midnight Sunday to lodge your nomination via Council’s website.”

Cr Foster said nominated businesses would be put to a community vote to determine the winners which will be announced at an event in June.
