Moyne Shire Council has launched an exciting range of programs to help boost the skills, credentials, confidence and connections of young people living in small towns and remote parts of Victoria’s south west region.
Mayor, Cr Karen Foster said FUSE South West offers a diverse range of free training programs and hands-on experiences, with the support of local businesses and community service providers for young people aged 14-25.
“This program is a positive initiative that responds to research findings and what our young people are telling us they need and want, to improve their future work prospects and their community connections,” said Cr Foster.
“There are options to suit everyone, covering a broad range of skills and interests.
Many of these courses are in school holidays and will book out quickly. We urge young people to act soon to secure a spot.”
