Bridge Closure Week 2

Eight of the ninety-four bearers have now been replaced.   The new bearers are a Class 2 Spotted Gum which is also treated for durability, these are 220mm in height and 180mm wide.

Decking timbers have also been removed and replaced. The new timbers are a mix of Spotted Gum, Iron Bark and Blackbutt.  There has been approximately 600 linear metres of new decking placed on the bridge. Over 700 bolts have been replaced.
